Capchem's ESG project for green and sustainable development

Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) has become a significant issue of common concern worldwide. ESG has gradually evolved into an important factor in connection with future planning and development of enterprises. In positive response to the call to contribute to "carbon peaking and carbon neutrality” goals, Capchem has officially launched the ESG project to achieve its sustainable development.

In order to enhance comprehensive governance, Capchem will establish a multi-tiered governance structure, further clarify the rights and responsibilities of relevant departments at all levels, and steadily carry out ESG work. With regard to management, Capchem will further optimize the existing ESG management system, comprehensively probe into the status quo of ESG management, and identify and mitigate risks in a timely manner. In terms of disclosure, Capchem will scientifically screen major issues and actively disclose and spread ESG information through various ways.

Pursuing innovation-driven green development, Capchem has achieved sustainability throughout operation and management with a more environment-friendly attitude, cleaner processes, and more energy-efficient devices. To achieve energy conservation and carbon reduction, Capchem implements a top-down energy (carbon) management system in which the headquarters guides bases. Specifically, actively enhancing energy utilization and carbon emission management, Capchem has introduced the ISO50001 energy management system, verified the carbon footprint, and obtained related ISO14064 certificates.

In the future, Capchem will implement the ESG concept comprehensively, actively seek for improvement in ESG management and actions, and further play a leading role in establishing a green industrial chain and advancing social development, to safeguard green and sustainable development.
