The concept of "specialized, excellent, featured and innovative" was first proposed by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology in the 12th Five-Year Plan for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs), to cultivate a number of industrial SMEs with such characteristics above. National specialized, excellent, featured and innovative “Little Giant” enterprises are leading enterprises that stick to the path of specialized development, focus on market segments, and boast strong innovation capabilities, high market share, key core technologies, and excellent quality and profitability. So far, the number of national specialized, excellent, featured and innovative “Little Giant” enterprises under Capchem has increased to four, indicating that Capchem is developing and growing stronger.
